Founded in Exton in 1989 as Analytical Graphics, AGI built Systems Tool Kit (STK), the modeling-and-simulation standard used across U.S. space and defense programs. Acquired by Ansys for about $700 million and now part of Synopsys, the Exton operation employs roughly 600 people and continues to win major Department of Defense contracts.
