Johnson Matthey

Johnson Matthey is a British specialty-chemicals and sustainable-technologies company founded in 1817 and best known for emission-control catalysts used in hundreds of millions of vehicles worldwide, plus hydrogen and fuel-cell components and platinum-group-metal services. Its West Chester facility on King Road has operated since 1971 and is one of its U.S. operating sites, associated with catalyst and clean-energy technology work. The parent trades on the London Stock Exchange and employs about 12,600 people across more than 30 countries.
