CertainTeed was founded in 1904 as the General Roofing Manufacturing Company; its "Quality Made Certain, Satisfaction Guaranteed" slogan became the brand name. It is now North America's leading manufacturer of exterior and interior building products, operating more than 60 plants across the U.S. and Canada as a subsidiary of French materials giant Saint-Gobain. The two share a 277,000-square-foot North American headquarters in Malvern, which opened in 2015, houses over 800 employees, and is LEED Platinum certified as a living laboratory for the company's own products.
